How it's worked out
Pay cost is the pay rate plus burden, the employer costs on top of pay. Gross profit is the bill rate minus the pay cost.
Margin is the share of the bill rate you keep: one minus pay cost divided by bill rate. Markup is the bill rate divided by the pay rate.
The yearly figures multiply each hourly number by 2,080 hours.
